Earnings are reinvested into shared infrastructure, resources, and farmer training programs that boost both yield and quality. Members benefit from discounted organic pesticides, locally produced organic fertilizer, and ongoing education in sustainable practices such as intercropping. Since 2006, the cooperative’s dry mill has strengthened quality control while creating jobs in the Huye District. With these efforts and their meticulous processing, Maraba consistently produces exceptional coffee that supports both community well-being and economic stability.
